Frequently asked questions
We want the support time to feel good and not rushed. Because of that we have a minimum shift time of 2 hours in all of our service agreements. We recommend at 4 hours at least once a week, if your funding allows. This gives you and your Support/Peer worker space to slow down, build trust, and focus on what matters to you.
Support can vary and look completely different from person to person. Some people need support with structure, routine, etc. For some it's all about social connection, or just having someone alongside them while they get out into the community. Together we'll shape it all around your needs, and your goals.
We've streamlined this process as much as possible to remove some of the pressure/overwhelm that comes with getting new supports.
In our menu you'll see "contact us" and that will take you to a form where you're able to input your details, what you're after, ideal days/times and preferred means of contact and we'll reach out as soon as possible. From there we can chat so you're able to see if we're a good fit and if we are, we'll put a plan in place together.
